DesignMedica and ROBOCAM partnered up to create a product that fills the gap between mobility and convenience of using mobile dental cabinets and the innovation and capabilities of modern intraoral scanners. Thanks to SCANVIO the medical specialist doesn’t have to give up work on a mobile worktop during a scan, which in turn ensures the possibility of flexible and convenient change of tools and functions that are used during a dental procedure.

 

As a supplier of modern equipment solutions for dental surgeries and clinics, ROBOCAM has made the greatest effort to give user the access to intuitive and incredibly powerful Medit i500 software and scanner. Using the latest version of the manufacturer’s software, allowing for the maximum use of computing power of the computer, we decided to build the most optimal unit that will shorten the entire process of preparing a digital 3D scan to a minimum.

 

DesignMedica, with extensive experience in design and production of mobile medical cabinets, has prepared a specially designed trolley and worktop of which quality, functionality and, most importantly, aesthetics – are unmatched. Despite the use of some of the available space for the control unit, the whole cabinet did not lose any of its most significant features, and what’s more important – it gained a completely new, unique function.

The 19-inch touchscreen mounted under the main worktop, made in capacitive technology and supporting Mulit-touch, allows users to get as much as possible out of the device, software and preview of the digital scan.

The scanner head included in the kit can be placed at any side on the cabinets casing, thus not limiting it and ensuring easy and smooth work with the device, regardless of personal preferences.

This combination of the most functional solutions and devices in modern dentistry will not only significantly facilitate the doctor’s work, but will also minimize the amount of technical background needed. We know that quick and easy work during a dental procedure is the most desirable feature. That’s why we decided to put the screen under the worktop without taking up the important space of the worktop itself. The cabinet’s operator can quickly and efficiently pull the monitor out, and once done with it, easily slip it back in place, providing a wider workplace for efficient maneuvering.
